Parathas are one of the most popular unleavened flatbreads in the Indian subcontinent, made with wheat dough from finely ground wholemeal (atta). Plain parathas are made with whole wheat flour that is kneaded using salt, oil, and water. The dough is then rolled into layered and cooked on a pan.
