Overview
As Procurement Manager you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of suppliers/contracts as well as supporting warehouse and other merchant Supply Chain areas. Engage with relevant stakeholders to understand the business strategies and provide support to the business on contractual, commercial and logistical matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaising with key company employees to determine product and service needs
- Performing all procurement activities including pre-qualification, negotiating supplier / merchant agreements, and stocked items.
- Working closely with suppliers of raw materials; negotiating terms and quantities, dependent on the needs of the business.
- Working closely with the inventory team to manage stock levels and general sales.
- Conducting market research to stay informed about industry trends, material availability, and price fluctuations.
- Purchasing and Procurement all goods and ensuring and monitoring purchasing costs to and with internal CRM system.
- Identifying areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results.
- Managing overall direction, coordination and evaluation of procurement for the organization.
- Creating policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation.
- Language Known - English, Hindi & Tamil.
Experience
- Demonstrated success in the development and delivery of successful procurement and supply chain strategies and implementing contractual arrangements with Logistics experience.
- Experience of forming, drafting, negotiating, and maintaining strategic commercial relationships.
- Should have good Computer skills like Excel, Formulas, Word and PowerPoint.
- Good understanding of contract and commercial law and sound understanding of contractual terms and conditions.
- Possess strong procurement, contract management and strategic supplier relationship management skills.
- High degree of commercial acumen, being able to understand complex commercial issues, and drive complex commercial negotiations to conclusion.
- Strong influencing and interpersonal skills, ability to change manage and work with Senior Management Team, advising at all levels as required.
- Strong leadership ability and collaborative style, with a genuine passion for talent development.
Pay
£30,000-£35,000 per annum
