Overview


We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Coordinator to manage the shipping and receiving operations for our shop. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the timely and accurate shipment of products, ensuring that all deliveries are correctly processed, and maintaining communication between the store and suppliers. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that inventory is stocked and that goods reach their destination efficiently.



Key Responsibilities


  • Organize and oversee incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring all deliveries are processed on time and according to schedule.
  • Work with the inventory team to track the flow of products, ensuring stock levels.
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to schedule deliveries, resolve shipping issues, and manage order discrepancies.
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for quality, quantity, and condition, reporting any discrepancies or damages.
  • Ensure proper routing of shipments and work closely with the transport team to track deliveries and optimize routes.
  • Address and resolve any shipping delays, inventory issues, or logistical challenges that arise.
  • Maintain records of shipments and inventory changes, preparing reports on shipping efficiency, costs, and order fulfillment accuracy.


Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field is a plus).
  • 2+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and shipping software systems.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with suppliers, transporters, and team members.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with shipping regulations and safety standards.


Pay


£23,000-£28,000 per annum
