Overview
We are seeking friendly and hardworking Floor Staff to join our store team. As a Floor Staff member, you will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers by assisting with product stocking, maintaining clean and organized aisles, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure shelves are well-stocked with fresh products, and merchandise is neatly arranged according to store layout and display guidelines.
- Help customers locate products, answer questions about merchandise, and provide general support throughout the store.
- Follow inventory rotation procedures to ensure products are fresh and expired items are removed from shelves.
- Keep aisles, shelves, and product displays clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Ensure all products are correctly labeled with prices and promotional signage is properly placed.
- Refill inventory in high-traffic areas and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages.
- Help receive and unload deliveries, and organize stock in the backroom.
- Collaborate with other staff members to keep the store running smoothly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail or grocery is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic math skills to assist with pricing and stock counts.
- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Pay
£20,000-£22,000 per annum
