Overview


We are seeking friendly and hardworking Floor Staff to join our store team. As a Floor Staff member, you will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers by assisting with product stocking, maintaining clean and organized aisles, and providing excellent customer service.



Key Responsibilities


  • Ensure shelves are well-stocked with fresh products, and merchandise is neatly arranged according to store layout and display guidelines.
  • Help customers locate products, answer questions about merchandise, and provide general support throughout the store.
  • Follow inventory rotation procedures to ensure products are fresh and expired items are removed from shelves.
  • Keep aisles, shelves, and product displays clean, organized, and free from hazards.
  • Ensure all products are correctly labeled with prices and promotional signage is properly placed.
  • Refill inventory in high-traffic areas and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages.
  • Help receive and unload deliveries, and organize stock in the backroom.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to keep the store running smoothly and efficiently.


Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in retail or grocery is a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic math skills to assist with pricing and stock counts.
  • A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.


Pay


£20,000-£22,000 per annum
