Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts and Administration professional. The role involves handling various accounting tasks and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office.



Key Responsibilities


  • Oversee all outstanding supplier, customer, and third-party vendor obligations
  • Process, send, and store all bank deposits and invoices
  • Prepare and submit tax documentation to the proper legal institutions
  • Remind clients to make timely payments
  • Identify and address discrepancies in all documentation
  • Update all databases and spreadsheets related to accounting
  • Organize and maintain personnel records
  • Update internal databases (e.g. record sick or maternity leave)
  • Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides
  • Revise company policies
  • Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance
  • Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)
  • Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
  • Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
  • Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms
  • Participate in HR projects (e.g. help organize a job fair event)


Skills and Qualifications


  • Proven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant or relevant role
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping procedures and best practices
  • Impeccable time-management skills
  • Capability to stay organized and maintain detailed records
  • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Comprehensive knowledge of tax filing procedures
  • Basic arithmetic competency


Pay


£25,000-£30,000 per annum
